About

A Trinity College Dublin alumnus, Dr. O'Connor spent four years in private practice in Dublin, Wexford, and Melbourne before joining the esteemed orthodontic doctoral program at the University of Queensland, Australia, and becoming the first-ever Australian-trained Irish Orthodontist. During his time in Australia, Dr. O'Connor worked in some of Brisbane's top orthodontic practices, gaining invaluable experience. He brings this cutting-edge orthodontic knowledge to Terenure Orthodontics. Currently, Dr. O'Connor is on the specialist orthodontic register in Ireland and affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, the Australasian Association of Orthodontics, and the Orthodontic Society of Ireland. He has also published scientific research on the effectiveness of Invisalign in adults and is a passionate sports enthusiast, especially as a fan of Galway GAA.

Holly, a recent graduate from Trinity College Dublin, has been with our team for a year. Her professionalism and vibrant energy greatly enhance the atmosphere of our practice. Holly's dedication to patient care and her exceptional ability to collaborate with the team significantly elevate the level of service we provide. Her enthusiasm for the field is evident in her work, making her a valued member of our staff.

Patrick has worked at Terenure Orthodontics since 2016. He provides a warm and welcoming presence in our practice. He is also an excellent problem solver and multitasker. He aims to use his experience to provide efficient and timely answers to all your nonclinical queries. Patrick has a background in biological science, so he has a good understanding of dental matters.

Hazel graduated with distinction as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital in 2010 and began her career at Blackrock Clinic, where she gained valuable experience in Oral Surgery, Implantology, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics. She has since become an invaluable member of our team.

Committed to furthering her professional development, Hazel completed a Diploma in Dental Radiography in 2016 and went on to achieve a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy at Dublin Dental School, Trinity College, in 2018, where she graduated top of her class. Hazel also recieved the award for the best academic achievement from the Irish Dental Council for her Orthodontic Therapy Course. Her expertise, professionalism, and kind manner help ensure that every patient feels comfortable, supported, and well cared for throughout their orthodontic treatment.

Originally from Bolivia, Brenda joined our team this year and has quickly become a valued member of our practice. With her background as a trained dentist, she brings both skill and dedication to her role while working towards her registration as a dentist here in Ireland.
